Here’s a quick story about building my prospect list. One day I got an email from a woman I never met. She had graduated the High School I currently teach at years ago, but moved to Texas shortly after. Her and her daughter were planning a trip back to NJ to visit some family, but her daughter was hesitant. She was on the track team at her high school and the trip up would mean a week of her missing practice. Knowing I was the Head Girls’ Track coach, the woman emailed me. The subject line was “Strange Request” – “Hi Michele…this might be the strangest request you’ve ever receive…” She told me who she was and asked me if her daughter could use the track at the school for the week to get her workouts in. I told her she could absolutely use the track. Then I went on to say, “Now, this might be the strangest request you’ve ever received, lol…”, and I went on to give her a small taste of my multi level marketing business.
